The Muscatine Community School District is proud to offer our families the Dual-Language Immersion Program (DLIP)! This option includes Bilingual learning from 4-year-old preschool through 1st grade. 2nd grade will be added for the 2024-2025 school year! The preschool DLIP program is located at the Muskie Early Learning Center, with 1st & 2nd grade housed at Franklin Elementary School. Our Dual Language Immersion Program integrates native English and native Spanish speakers to receive academic instruction in Spanish (80% of the day) and English (20% of the day).
